WIELD THE WORD

Got the hound at your heel,
menacing over your head?













Whispering lies, making you reel...
rendering you good as dead?

Lies, deceit, whispers and snickers...
arrows shot from hell's quiver...
a wildfire grows - though from flickers -
by fiery accusations the Liar delivers.

Be swift! Gird the loins, soldier!
Reach for the sword, stand firm!
Be as the Lord... wield the Word,
"It is written!" ... reaffirm!























Take no time to deliberate...
not for a moment agree...
he aims to debilitate
and relish o'er his victory.

So if whispers eek into thought,
the unguarded mind to invade,
fight! your victory was bought
by God Himself, and fully paid!

Rejoice, Saint! Be victorious!
Take what is yours and use it!
Wear thine armour, glorious...
The victory is yours...don't lose it!
